The 3-Megapixel-version of Axiocam 500 series is designed for fast image acquisiton and detail photography.
It's sensor measures 11 mm diagonally.
With 1936 horizontal Pixels and 1460 vertical Pixels you can acquire up to 38 images per second in full HD. Binning allows the framerate to reach over 90 images per second.

In the Mono-Version, Axiocam 503 delivers full-HD quality along the emission specturm of all relevant fluorescent dyes.
This monochromatic camera is optimized for witnessing movement and activity in living cell samples, that were marked with fluorescent dyes.
Nevertheless it can also pick up natural fluorescence thanks to it's uniform detection spectrum.
