ASKANIA SMT is a stereo microscope design consisting of optimized modules. Thanks to this modular buildup this microscope can be custom-fit to meet individual demands for a wide range of customers. With an effective operational distance of up to 18mm and a sturdy, diecast aluminium casing, the SMT prevails even in toxic working environments. The SMT4 can be furtherly optimized thanks to a multitude of valid modular add-ons.
It is a flexible Allrounder for all tasks that require stereo vision with microscopic precision.

The ASKANIA SMT Ergo has been designed specifically with ergonomics in mind. The multi-purpose tubus can be freely adjusted in a range from 10° - 55°. Eyepieces and microscope core are separated by an extendable neck system that is fully enclosed by flexible bellows. Thereby protected from scattered light and immunized to focal misalignment, the microscope core functions unhindered while you can freely adjust the height of the eyepieces.
