The ZEISS Primovert HDcam was specifically developed for the demands of modern cell culture laboratories. As an inverted microscope, it enables rapid assessment of live, unstained cells directly in culture vessels such as petri dishes or well plates. The integrated phase contrast allows high-contrast imaging without staining – ideal for routine checks and long-term observations.

The permanently integrated 5 Megapixel HD IP camera makes the Primovert HDcam a fully digital solution. Images and videos can be captured directly on the microscope, saved to an SD card, or transferred to a monitor, PC, or network via HDMI, USB, and Ethernet. In conjunction with the free ZEISS Labscope App, multiple users can simultaneously view, annotate, and document live images – even outside the sterile workspace.

Thanks to its compact design, the Primovert HDcam fits easily into laminar flow boxes. The durable LED transmitted light illumination with constant color temperature ensures uniform illumination without warm-up times. The system is ready for immediate use and supports efficient, reproducible workflows in daily laboratory operations.
