The ZEISS Axiovert 5 DL SCB is a versatile inverted microscope for demanding cell culture and live cell applications. It combines transmitted light brightfield, phase contrast Ph1, iHMC (Intermediate Hoffman Modulation Contrast) and supports PlasDIC, enabling clear, plastic, and detailed imaging of transparent, living, and poorly contrasted samples.

This model is specially enhanced with a Thermo Plate® holder with controller, ideal for temperature-controlled live-cell experiments, long-term observations, and manipulation procedures (e.g., microinjection).

With the integrated Smart Control Box (SCB), the microscope can be operated completely without a PC – including automatic image optimization, camera triggering, direct HDMI output, and Wi-Fi compatibility. The powerful Axiocam 305 color (5 MP, Global Shutter) delivers razor-sharp, color-accurate images with a high live image rate.

The system is ideal for research, routine, education, and live-imaging environments.
