The ZEISS Axiovert 5 AL SCB is a powerful inverted microscope for demanding applications in material analysis, surface inspection, microstructure analysis, and industrial quality control.
With its robust reflected-light design, integrated Smart Control Box (SCB), and high-quality EC Epiplan-Neofluar HD DIC objectives, it delivers high-contrast, reproducible results from 5× to 50× magnification.

The system combines reflected-light brightfield, darkfield, and Differential Interference Contrast (DIC) in a compact module, ideal for detecting the finest defects, topographic differences, microstructures, and polished surfaces.
The integrated Axiocam 305 color (5 MP, Global Shutter) enables precise documentation with optimal color reproduction and fast live image display.

Thanks to the Smart Control Box, the microscope can be operated completely stand-alone – including automatic detection of DIC & filter positions, image optimization, and direct HDMI output.
