Description

The ASKANIA SMT stereomicroscope is a robust, universally applicable stereomicroscope based on the Galileo principle – ideal for routine and precision tasks in technology, quality control, production, electronics, and research. With its five fixed magnification levels 5x, 10x, 16x, 25x, and 50x, combined with a large working distance of 100 mm, the SMT allows both spatial observations and fine work directly on the object.

The magnification changer is intuitive to operate and offers clear, reproducible step changes. The 1.6x stereo viewing system, together with the 1x plan achromatic objective (N.A. ~0.1), ensures high-contrast, color-true, and upright images. Two GF-PW 10x/20 eyeglass wearers' eyepieces and the precise focus drive with ball guide (50 mm) ensure ergonomic and stable use.

The standard configuration includes the Large Stand A with a 367 mm column, a black/white insert plate, and two specimen clamps. The included 3W LED spot incident light with lamp holder provides targeted object illumination. Thanks to the modular ASKANIA design, the SMT can be expanded at any time with auxiliary lenses, different stand variants, ring lights, camera systems, transmitted light options, or measuring accessories – ideal for demanding, future-proof applications.
