Description

The ASKANIA SMT Ergo is the ergonomic version of the proven SMT stereo microscope – ideal for users who work many hours a day at the microscope. The variably adjustable ergonomic tube (10°–55°) allows for individual adaptation to body height, working height, and sitting position. This achieves a relaxed, natural posture, which is particularly crucial in electronics manufacturing, quality control, assembly, or precision work.

With five fixed magnification levels 4x, 8x, 12.5x, 20x, 40x and a large working distance of 180 mm, the SMT Ergo offers ample space for tools, components, and hand movements. The plan achromatic 0.5x objective ensures clear, high-contrast 3D images with a high depth of field.

The combination of LED ring light and diffuser LR-60/110 provides shadow-free, even light – ideal for shiny surfaces, circuit boards, solder joints, and fine details. The solid round base with a 500 mm profile column offers maximum stability and flexibility in working height.

Like all ASKANIA systems, the SMT Ergo is also fully modular and can be expanded at any time with auxiliary lenses, lighting variants, cameras, or measuring stages.
