Description

The ASKANIA SMT with coaxial illumination is the ideal solution for applications where deep structures, boreholes, connectors or closely spaced components need to be illuminated with high contrast and without shadows. Due to the coaxial light guidance, the light is reflected into the beam path almost perpendicularly - perfect for complex geometries and highly reflective surfaces.

The microscope offers five fixed magnification levels 4x, 8x, 12.5x, 20x and 40x and a large working distance of approx. 180 mm. The 0.5x plan achromatic objective ensures maximum object freedom and allows working directly on the component. The system delivers color-true, upright and high-contrast 3D images with high depth of field - ideal for manufacturing, electronics, connector analysis, mechanics and quality assurance.

The coaxial illumination is realized by a powerful KL 1600 LED cold light source (or newer) and a single-arm, 1000 mm flexible light guide (Ø8 mm). The additional indirect incident light illumination Ø70 allows for soft, even illumination for shiny or convex surfaces.

The 2x stereo viewing tube, the GF-PW 12.5x/20 eyepieces and the coarse focus drive (50 mm) offer ergonomic and stable handling. The system stands on the stable tripod base A with a long 600 mm column, which is particularly necessary for large workpieces or high accessories.

The modular ASKANIA system allows for expansion at any time - for example, with auxiliary lenses, ring lights, TV/photo adapters, measuring tables or special tubes.
