ASKANIA MZM – Macro Zoom Microscope with Profile Column

The ASKANIA MZM Macro-Zoom Microscope with Profile Column offers a flexible, precise, and robust solution for industrial inspection tasks, metrology, assembly processes, and training. With its vertical optical path, a large working distance of 71 mm, and a magnification range of 8x to 40x, the system delivers clear, distortion-free images while maintaining high ease of use.

The standard configuration includes a trinocular head (30° / 50:50) for simultaneous visual observation and image output, an ergonomic binocular head 30/120, two high-quality GF-PW 10x/20 eyepieces, and a precise focusing drive with ball guide (50 mm travel). This enables powerful and fatigue-free work – even over longer periods.

The great advantage of this variant is the stable profile column (300 mm). Compared to the round column, it offers particularly high rigidity and repeatability in height adjustment, which is especially relevant in measurement and inspection processes. This is combined with a robust stand base A (310 × 220 × 30 mm).

The focusable 3W LED spot incident illumination ensures high-contrast, pinpoint illumination of the field of view. The black/white insert plate optimally supports various contrast situations and material surfaces.

Thanks to its modular design, the MZM can be expanded at any time – for example, with auxiliary lenses, camera systems, ring lights, transmitted light illumination, or measuring tables. This keeps the system versatile, future-proof, and optimally adaptable to a wide range of applications.
